Observership Program
An observership is a short-term, non-clinical educational experience that allows
participants to observe medical procedures, clinical practices, and patient interactions
without directly participating in patient care. It is designed for learning purposes only and
is ideal for international doctors or trainees seeking exposure to a new medical
environment.
• Duration: Usually short-term (days)
• Role: Observer only — no hands-on clinical activity
• Eligibility: Open to international or visiting physicians/students
• Purpose: Educational observation and knowledge exchange
• Legal requirement: No medical license in the host country required
• Certificate: Certificate of attendance or observation

Dr. Nabil Fakih, is one of leading facial surgeons & a recognized worldwide expert in the field of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He is the President of the Spanish Society of Facial Plastic Surgery and the Chairman of Oculoplastics at the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery. Additionally, he is an associate member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Fakih is International Board Certified in Cosmetic Surgery and is a Member of Honor of the Argentinian Society of Aesthetic & Functional Rhinoplasty. He also serves on the International Advisory Board of the American Journal of Cosmetic Surgery.
Dr. Fakih specializes in Cranio-Maxillo-Facial Surgery, having trained at some of the most prestigious hospitals in Spain and completed a fellowship in the USA. He has authored or co-authored numerous scientific manuscripts & books on facial plastic & reconstructive surgery and has developed several surgical techniques that are used worldwide.
He is the owner of Fakih Hospital & FAKIH Clinics in Lebanon, as well as FACEXPERT Clinic & Academy in Spain. He performs his general anesthesia surgeries in Marbella, at one of the most exclusive boutique hospitals and his local anesthesia at his iconic clinic in Torremolinos.
