1. General Provisions
· This agreement is valid for all products (digital/physical) and services provided under the Sky Medical Academy brand. Services include; online courses, certificate programs, online/onsite trainings, symposia and congresses, clinical/hospital/laboratory observations, fellowship programs, internship trainings, e-books, and accommodation/transportation services.
· IMPORTANT: Specific cancellation, refund, amendment, and penalty terms valid for each individual event and program are determined on a case-by-case basis and are explicitly announced on the relevant event registration page. In case of conflict between these general terms and the event-specific terms, the event-specific terms shall prevail.
2. Delivery, Access, and Registration Confirmation Processes
· Online Application and Confirmation: Upon completion of your online payment for any training, course, or program application, a confirmation email acknowledging receipt of your application and confirmation of your payment is sent to your registered e-mail address instantly or within 24 hours at the latest.
· Online Training/Course and Certificate Programs: Following confirmation, your access information (username, password, platform link) for the training or program is provided to you via email or through your account. Access periods are program-specific.
· Onsite (Face-to-Face) Trainings, Congresses, and Symposia: Documents such as certificates of participation, tickets, reservation confirmations, invitation letters, or program details are sent to you via email before the event date within the specified periods.
· Clinical, Hospital, Laboratory Trainings (Observation, Fellowship, Internship): Following your application confirmation, detailed information regarding the process (start date, location, contact information, requirements) is communicated to you via email within 3 business days at the latest. Admission to these programs may be subject to additional evaluation processes.
· Physical Products (Books, etc.): Orders are shipped within 3 business days after payment confirmation.
· E-Books: Following the confirmation of your purchase, an access link to the e-book file or the file itself is sent via email or made available for download through your account.
3. Cancellation, Refund and Amendment Conditions
· Consumer Law and Right of Withdrawal: According to the Law No. 6502 on the Protection of the Consumer, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days. However, the following exceptions apply:
· Exception for Events, Trainings, and Programs: Cancellation and refund conditions for services such as congresses, courses, symposia, onsite trainings, observations, fellowships, and internship programs are determined according to the specific terms of the relevant event. Penalties may apply or no refund may be issued after certain dates due to reservation, accommodation, and organization costs.
· Accommodation and Transportation Services: The respective cancellation and refund policies of hotel, airline, and other transportation companies apply.
· Digital Content and E-Books: Digital content ready for immediate download or consumption (online course access, e-books, etc.) is excluded from the right of withdrawal once they are made available to you.
4. Precedence of Event-Specific Terms
· Please note that each training, course, and program has its own specific terms. Before registering for a service, please be sure to read the relevant "Participation Conditions" and "Cancellation and Refund Policy". These event-specific terms are absolutely valid for that service, even if they conflict with the terms in this general agreement.
5. Refund and Amendment Request Process
· You must contact info@skymedicalacademy.com or our phone line at +90 501 105 36 28 for refund or amendment requests.
· Your request will be evaluated within the framework of the specific terms of the relevant service and you will be informed.
· If your refund is approved, your payment will be refunded via the same payment method used for the original transaction (credit card processed via Iyzico, bank transfer, etc.) within 14 business days.
