This 5-day intensive course is designed for orthopedic surgeons, fellows, and senior trainees with a special interest in hip and knee arthroscopy. The program offers a comprehensive educational experience through live surgical observation, case-based discussions, clinical decision-making sessions, and partially hands-on training under supervision at two leading institutions in Istanbul.

Rather than a day-by-day format, the course is structured to provide participants with broad and focused exposure to the key concepts, surgical indications, arthroscopic techniques, common and advanced cases, perioperative planning, and rehabilitation principles in both hip and knee arthroscopy.

What Participants Will See and Learn During the 5 Days

Knee Arthroscopy Topics

Participants will have the opportunity to observe and discuss the essential and advanced principles of knee arthroscopy, including:

* Diagnostic knee arthroscopy

* Arthroscopic knee anatomy and portal placement

* Meniscal tears and meniscus preservation strategies

* Partial meniscectomy techniques

* Meniscal repair principles and indications

* Chondral and osteochondral lesions

* Cartilage evaluation and treatment strategies

* ACL-related arthroscopic assessment and associated intra-articular findings

* Patellofemoral joint pathology

* Synovial disorders and loose body removal

* Arthroscopic management principles in sports-related knee injuries

* Surgical decision-making in primary and selected complex knee cases

* Pearls, pitfalls, and complication avoidance in knee arthroscopy

Hip Arthroscopy Topics

Participants will also gain direct exposure to the principles and practice of hip arthroscopy, including:

* Hip arthroscopy indications and contraindications

* Arthroscopic hip anatomy and orientation

* Patient positioning and traction principles

* Portal placement and safe access techniques

Cases and Clinical Exposure

Throughout the course, participants may observe and discuss a range of cases depending on the active surgical schedule and case availability. These may include:

Knee Cases

* Meniscal tear cases

* Meniscal repair cases

* Partial meniscectomy cases
