Program Overview

This advanced-level, one-to-one arthroscopic surgery training is designed for orthopedic surgeons seeking to refine their surgical skills through personalized, hands-on experience. The program combines theoretical sessions, live surgeries, and case-based discussions under the direct supervision of Assoc. Prof. Erdinç Genç, MD.

Weekly Program Structure

Day 1 – Introduction & Fundamentals Review

• Welcome and program briefing

• Review of arthroscopic anatomy and biomechanics

• Surgical setup, instrumentation, and operating room protocols

• Live surgery observation (shoulder/knee cases)

• Case discussion and Q&A

 

Day 2 – Knee Arthroscopy (Advanced Techniques)

• Advanced meniscus repair techniques

• ACL reconstruction (techniques and graft options)

• Cartilage repair procedures

• Hands-on practice / OR participation

• Post-operative protocols and rehabilitation discussion

 

Day 3 – Shoulder Arthroscopy

• Rotator cuff repair techniques

• Shoulder instability and Bankart repair

• Subacromial decompression and biceps procedures

• Live surgery participation

• Case-based interactive discussion

 

Day 4 – Complex & Revision Cases

• Management of failed ACL / revision surgery

• Complex meniscus and cartilage lesions

• Advanced shoulder cases

• Surgical tips, tricks, and complication avoidance

• One-to-one surgical mentoring session

 

Day 5 – Integration & Assessment

• Participant-led case presentation

• Surgical planning and strategy discussion

• Final hands-on session / OR exposure

• Feedback and performance evaluation

• Certification ceremony
