DAY 1 — MAMMOGRAPHY
- Opening, participant introductions, and program overview
- Fundamentals of mammography: Physics, equipment, and radiation safety
- Mammography technique: Positioning, compression, and image quality standards (ACR/BI-RADS)
- BI-RADS classification: Categories 0–6 with case examples
- Digital mammography vs. Digital Breast Tomosynthesis (DBT)
- Hands-on Case Reading Session — Mammography reading practice (15+ cases)
DAY 2 — BREAST ULTRASOUND
- Fundamentals of breast ultrasound: Probe selection, frequency, and technical protocols
- Normal breast anatomy on ultrasound | Benign lesion characterization (cyst, fibroadenoma, lipoma)
- Malignant lesion ultrasound findings | BI-RADS ultrasound criteria
- Elastography and Doppler ultrasound applications
- Hands-on Ultrasound Simulator
- Ultrasound-guided core needle biopsy (CNB): Technique, needle selection, and sampling
DAY 3 — BREAST MRI
- Indications for breast MRI and patient preparation (menstrual cycle timing, contrast protocol)
- MRI techniques (Ultrafast breast MRI..etc) and sequences: T1, T2, DWI, DCE (Dynamic Contrast Enhanced) | MRI BI-RADS
- Kinetic curve analysis | Lesion characterization (morphology + kinetics)
- High-risk screening, implant evaluation, and treatment response monitoring
- Hands-on MRI Case Reading Session — Interactive case discussions
DAY 4 — IMAGE-GUIDED BIOPSY TECHNIQUES
- Biopsy indications, patient counseling, and complication management
- Stereotactic / Tomosynthesis-guided vacuum-assisted biopsy (VAB)
- MRI-guided biopsy: Indications and technical challenges
- Marker clip placement and post-biopsy management
- Hands-on Biopsy Phantom / Simulator Practice (ultrasound and stereotactic)
DAY 5 — ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE & INTEGRATION + CERTIFICATE CEREMONY
- The role of AI in breast imaging: Current clinical applications and FDA-approved systems
- AI-assisted mammography reading and CAD systems | Radiologist–AI collaboration models
- AI in risk scoring, screening optimization, and workflow management
- Limitations of AI, ethical considerations, and clinical integration challenges
- Cases covering all imaging modalities
